Leads for contractors, from public records
Know who has to hire.
Before anyone else does.
A new pool needs a fence. An unsafe facade needs a mason. BuildTipoff finds the owners who are required to hire, tells you the deadline, and gives each territory to one contractor per trade.

building permits issued in New York City in the last 7 days. Most are noise. The highlighted ones are owners about to buy.

How it works
Not a list. A reason to call.
Permit lists are cheap. Knowing which owner is forced to buy, and by when, is not.
We watch the triggers
Pool permits, facade filings, shed permits, closings. Pulled every morning from city and county records, before they issue where the data allows.
We delete the junk
Legalizations, commercial jobs, tiny repairs and tract-builder sites are removed. Each lead that remains gets a one-line reason to call and a deadline.
You get there first
A morning email, a postcard to the owner with a tracked QR code, or both. One contractor per trade per territory, so the lead is yours.
Triggers
Owners with a deadline.
Every trigger is a moment when someone has to hire, not just might.

The best feature is the leads you never see.
Permits for work already done
Legalizations of an existing fence or deck aren't jobs. They're gone.
Commercial and tiny repairs
A $900 water heater swap is not a lead for a fence company. Filtered.
Tract builder addresses
Held until closing, when the new owner is actually buying.
Skip-traced cell phones
A permit is not consent. We give you mail and business phones, not lawsuits.
